I have been working at travel on 2 for 3 years within this time I have been lucky enough to travel to South Australia.

In 2005 I won a place on a family trip which was run by the Aussie Specialist programme and the Australain tourist board. I was away for 10 days in this time we visited many places within South Australia including Adelaide which is a fantastic city with great beaches and lots of opportunities to experience the culture. We also visited Kangaroo Island which is just off Adelaide the island is a nature reserve with no fences and it is well worth a visit for animal enthusiasts.

Before returning to to Adelaide for the flight home we spent a few days in Coober Pedy which is the mining capital of the world here people live underground because of the intense heat I was lucky enough to stay in the only cave hotel in the world the visits round the many mines in the area give a great insight on how Coober Pedy supplies 90% of the worlds opals.I feel very passionate about Australia and I hope sometime soon I will get the opportunity to go go back.

More recently I have been to Dubai again, completing the Dubai Expert Programme which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dubai is a ever changing city. The building work taking place is intense but I would not say it would put me off travelling there again. Dubai has so much offer from sand skiing to great shopping and desert safaris and its only seven hours flying time from the UK. I consider it an ideal for a short break.

I am hoping I will have the opportunity to visit somewhere equally as exciting in 2007.
